Landbell Group publishes its first sustainability report

4 October 2023

In September, Landbell Group reaffirmed its commitment to sustainable business practices by publishing its first sustainability report.

“Sustainability is important to us. It’s deeply rooted in our core business and firmly embedded in our values. This report builds on what we have already achieved and commits to doing more,” explained Jan Patrick Schulz, Chief Executive Officer of Landbell Group.

“As part of our sustainability initiative, we recently joined the United Nations Global Compact, officially committing to the Ten Principles on human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption (see article here). We also received the EcoVadis Silver Medal for our commitment to responsible business practices (see article here). We will proceed from here and give our commitment even more weight and visibility in the future.”

Through its sustainability initiative, the Group aims to ensure the highest standards for business operation across the company and throughout its supply chain, by setting expectations and monitoring performance in line with its own business ethics and standards.

Jan Patrick Schulz also emphasised the importance of providing reliable and insightful information:

“Our sustainability initiative is aligned with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards, ensuring that this report provides our stakeholders with the high level of quality needed to trust our corporate claims.”

The Group will also publish its sustainability report annually, so that it can measure progress, and regularly update stakeholders on its sustainability efforts.
