Landbell Group welcomes delegation from Ghana
On November 24, Landbell Group welcomed a delegation from Ghana to its headquarters in Mainz. The delegation consisted of high-ranking representatives from various state authorities, such as the Ministry of Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation, and the Environmental Protection Agency.
The reason for the visit was a circular economy project in Ghana, which is run by the consulting companies GOPA Infra and Ramboll.
The visit lasted two and a half hours, during which an interesting discussion took place on WEEE management in Europe. After an introduction to the legal background in Europe by Dr. Thomas Fischer, Head of Market Intelligence and Governmental Affairs, Kingsly Akamewane, Global Supply Chain Manager, went deeper into the subject, explaining the operational implementation of WEEE collection and treatment, and existing challenges.
The Ghanaian delegation showed great interest in the topics and actively contributed to the discussion by asking questions and sharing their own expertise.
