Landbell Group to support private sector’s role in the circular economy in Tunisia

2 November 2022

As part of the “ProtecT” project, the German international development agency has awarded a contract to Landbell Group and Black Forest Solutions to analyse the private sector’s current role in solid waste management and the circular economy in Tunisia – and identify potential involvement mechanisms.

In addition to evaluating the current role of the private sector, the project will support the Tunisian National Waste Management Agency in analysing the existing waste management sectors from the organisational, financial, and legal points of view.

The aim is to develop an action plan to optimise the operation of the waste management sectors with a view to applying circular economy principles and ensuring greater participation from the private sector.

During this mission, Landbell Group and Black Forest Solutions will consider a participative approach based on the cooperation of all actors to ensure sustainable and adapted solutions.

The project was launched in October 2022 and will continue until December 2023.
