ERP NL are a small team co-ordinating all operations in the NL for customers from the NL and around the world. Your responsibilities

The role of Reverse Supply Chain Manager (RSCM) is accountable for developing, managing and improving selected services offered by ERP NL in the Netherlands.

You will work as part of a small team and support the team in:

  • operational activities to build and manage a reverse supply chain for textiles in the Netherlands
  • textile waste management suppliers network development
  • collaboration with main actors of the textile waste market in the Netherlands
  • EPR compliance services proposal development and growth.

The RSCM will report to ERP NL’s Country General Manager.

Leadership

  • Participates in the implementation of local textile circular economy solutions
  • Functions as one of the points of contact for textile waste supply chain operators in the Netherlands

Strategy

  • Develops the supply chain of textile waste collectors, sorters and recyclers
  • Monitors trends and opportunities related to textile waste management

Commercial Focus

  • Engages and keeps motivated outsourced end-of-life suppliers’ network and internal stakeholders
  • Builds, maintains, and manages a suppliers database at the country level
  • Regularly sources, tenders and contracts with suppliers
  • Supports the development of ad-hoc quotations for tailored projects related to textiles
  • Sets up and controls invoicing flow with the supply chain network

Service Delivery

  • Monitors service performance by analysing data
  • Produces technical reports and customers’ charters
  • Defines and develops KPIs, assesses supplier performance and contributes towards continuous process improvement

Strategic Development

  • Ensures continual service delivery improvement
  • Analyses the best practices in textile waste management and EPR and replicates the most relevant of them.
  • Develops and maintains knowledge of regulatory and market changes

Essential Competencies:

  • University Degree or equivalent (related to waste management and environmental protection or textiles is desirable)
  • Relevant work experience (minimum 2 years, preferably within a role related to waste management, textile waste, and/or EPR)
  • Proficiency in Dutch language (C2) and English language (C1 or above), both spoken and written

Desirable Competencies:

  • Knowledge and experience of waste management legislation and requirements in the Netherlands (handling, transport, treatment, licensing, etc.)
