Junior EPR Consultant (m/f/d)

LANDBELL GROUP is a leader in environmental and chemical compliance services. For our Exploration Team, delivering Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) consultancy in low- and middle-income countries, we are looking for a Junio EPR Consultant (m/w/d).
Your responsibilities
- Supporting execution of EPR advisory projects: contributing to the research, baseline assessment, report writing, co-creating content requested by customers, participating in online meetings, preparing meeting summaries and following up;
- Critical analyzing, challenging, commenting on, correcting, editing, and ensuring logical flow of written deliverables;
- Supporting project acquisition: spotting tenders and winning them (proposal writing and putting the bid together) – rare but intensive when happens;
- Contract management: being an interface between the customer (international donor agencies), subcontractors (external consultants) and internal accounting team, including elaboration of subcontractor agreements, time management, and invoice validation.
Your qualifications
- Education: economics/business, waste management, environmental engineering, law
- Professional experience: 7-10 years, at least 2 years in waste management, especially plastics, and at least 2 years in consultancy
- Fluent English both in writing and speaking
- Excellent writing skills
- MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams literacy, including working with MS Teams groups/ shared folders and files
- Patience of an angel to read, decode and digest complex, lengthy (100-200 pages) and sometimes very poorly written literature: reports and studies, legal texts, tender documents
- Attention to detail, ability to spot typos, inconsistencies and mistakes in own and others’ deliverables
- Proactivity
- Ability to learn on the fly
- Ability to work with tight deadlines
- Ability to work in virtual and matrix teams
- Flexibility in terms of daily responsibilities (acceptance of no two days alike or no templates)
- Solid knowledge of developments in EPR implementation in at least one Asian or African country
- Experience in proposal writing
- Public speaking skills
- Working knowledge of any other language aside from English
- The job may entail occasional travel to low- and middle-income countries (short-term trips)
- Projects usually tend to last between 6-18 months. Multiple projects run at the same time but usually have different advancement stage
