Planetiers World Gathering 2026

ERP and Landbell Group contribute to textile circularity discussions

The Planetiers World Gathering 2026 brought together sustainability leaders, innovators, policymakers and industry representatives committed to accelerating the transition towards a more sustainable future.

European Recycling Platform (ERP), a Landbell Group company, was proud to be part of these conversations, contributing expertise and practical insights on one of the most pressing challenges facing the sector today: textile circularity.

A particular highlight was the ongoing work of the Textiles Task Force, which brings together key stakeholders to explore pathways towards greater circularity, compliance and resource efficiency across the textile value chain.

Representing Landbell Group, Dora Caria, Chief Procurement Officer, emphasised the importance of collaboration in developing effective Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) systems for textiles.

“The transformation of the textile sector requires cooperation across the entire value chain,” Dora noted. “By bringing together producers, policymakers, recyclers, innovators and compliance organisations, we can turn regulatory challenges into opportunities and build a more circular and resilient textile ecosystem.”

The discussions continued during the panel session “Textiles: Enabling Circularity through Global EPR Solutions”, where experts from Landbell Group, Decathlon Portugal and Humana Portugal explored how collaboration, innovation and shared responsibility can help keep textiles in use for longer and out of waste streams.
