Landbell USA has launched a new LinkedIn page to highlight its expertise in Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) compliance for California-based companies, with a focus on textiles.

The new page serves as a resource for companies seeking to understand and manage their new producer responsibilities.

CA SB 707 Responsible Textiles Recovery Act of 2024 is the first U.S Textile Legislation of its kind. The Law requires producers to fund the responsible end-of-life disposition of their products to address the growing textile waste problem. The law mandates the formation of a single Producer Responsibility Organization (PRO) to manage collection, sortation, repair, reuse, and recycling of material that is covered by the legislation.

With the experience of managing over 40 worldwide PROs for various waste streams, including being a Textiles PRO in The Netherlands, Landbell USA is in a unique position to apply to be the PRO for the CA SB 707 Legislation.
