On 16 September, H2 Compliance team members, Emily Bergmann, Jim Mo and Pat Gibbs attended PSX 2025 in Houston, Texas.
The 3-day conference brought together more than 150 attendees and 10 exhibitors for thought-provoking sessions, networking and knowledge exchange.
PSX is organised annually by the Product Stewardship Society, which supports professionals in the field through membership, CPPS certification and educational programs.
During the educational sessions, Jim Mo presented an overview of the EU General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR), including its background, key obligations, and a practical case study.
Pat Gibbs shared insights on the development of US textile EPR legislation, highlighting its role in advancing the circular economy.
Both presentations attracted questions from about 60 to 80 people in the audiences.
Among other contributions, over 30 speakers delivered presentations on leading topics in product stewardship, ranging from chemical management and product compliance to hazard communication, risk management, sustainability, legislative updates and the impact of AI.
