The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), the German international development agency, has awarded a contract to Landbell Group and BlackForest Solutions GmbH to provide expertise on extended producer responsibility and deposit return schemes for waste packaging in China and Southeast Asia.
The aim of the project is to foster the transition towards the circular economy in China, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.
During the mission, experts from both companies will advise on technical reports, studies, policy briefs and the implementation of pilot projects for plastic waste management. They will also deliver workshops and training sessions in the target countries.
