Awarding achievement and communicating changes is essential for safer chemicals

8 November 2021

Our colleagues at H2 Compliance are all set for a busy programme of events this month.

On 3rd November, they presented two important topics at the annual meeting of the Society for Chemical Hazard Communication (SCHC) which is based in the United States.

The SCHC is a professional society committed to serving chemical hazard communication professionals and to promoting knowledge and awareness in all areas of chemical hazard communication.

The annual meeting features regulatory updates, with expert speakers from around the world.

At 11 am ET/5 pm CET, James Lloyd, who leads the UK REACH activities for H2 Compliance, discussed the impact of UK REACH and GB CLP (classification, labelling and packaging) on chemical compliance in Europe.

James was then followed by Beth Bidstrup, Director at H2 Compliance Inc. who gave a presentation on substance monitoring and stewardship.

Over in Ireland, H2 Compliance co-founder Kevin Hoban is one of the judges for this year’s Pharma Industry Awards, which take place on 11th November 2021.

This is a long-standing award programme for recognising and celebrating individuals and companies that demonstrate excellence in Ireland’s pharma industry.

Kevin will sit on the independent panel of recognised and expert judges – drawn from academia, business, and broader related sectors – who will determine this year’s winners!
