Spanish artists for the circular economy
The fourth edition of CirculArt, the annual national visual arts competition promoted by ERP Spain, has successfully concluded its call for entries. This year, a total of 442 works were submitted, representing a steady 14% increase compared to the previous edition.
CirculArt is a core part of ERP Spain’s commitment to public awareness and proper waste management. Through the “3 Rs” (Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle), the company seeks to generate a real, positive impact and foster a more sustainable culture.
Connecting Art and Sustainability
Since its launch, CirculArt has become a key initiative that connects art, sustainability, and the circular economy, creating a space where artists can reimagine the value of materials and drive social awareness of more effective resource management.
Every submitted piece is an invitation to reimagine our relationship with resources from repurposing materials to finding new ways to give them a second life.
The Power of Reused Materials
A standout feature across all editions is the innovative use of recovered and reused materials. These proposals demonstrate how the circular economy inspires new forms of creation, emphasising a key message: the more we reuse, repair, or transform, the closer we get to a truly efficient resource management model.
Upcoming Exhibition
The exhibition will be held at Espacio Ronda Valencia from 17 April to 5 May 2026 and will showcase 14 selected works. This will be a unique opportunity for the public to engage with these works and continue the conversation around sustainability through art.
