US conferences round-up by the chemical team

SCHC Annual Meeting

In September 2024, H2 Compliance experts Emily Bergmann, Adrienne Black and Claire Mathis attended the Society for Chemical Hazard Communication (SCHC) Annual Meeting in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA.

They exhibited to the 250 attendees, showcasing their wide-ranging product stewardship and hazard communication offer.

Aside from the attendees’ interest in chemical services, they also noted increased interest in EPR and takeback services.

In addition to exhibiting, Claire serves as the Program Committee Chair and arranged and hosted 20 technical speakers for the conference who offered their expertise on a wide variety of topics.

PSX

On 14 to 17 October 2024, H2 Compliance experts Karen Darnell, Domonick Zanarini, Jim Mo and Claire Mathis also attended and exhibited at the Product Stewardship Exchange (PSX) conference hosted by the Product Stewardship Society in Denver, Colorado, USA.

PSX is an annual conference where industry professionals and leaders gather to exchange ideas and knowledge in the field of chemical regulatory compliance, sustainability and product stewardship.

To highlight:

  • Claire Mathis conducted a training session on Introduction to Product Compliance as part of the Introduction to Product Stewardship workshop
  • Jim Mo and Domonick Zanarini hosted a session on the EU Digital Product Passport, covering the Batteries regulation, implementation strategies and challenges
  • Claire co-hosted a presentation on Preparing for the CPPS Exam, where she shared tips to successfully pass the product stewardship credentialing exam, and
  • Domonick Zanarini presented a session on using a Product Life Cycle Approach to Assess an Organization’s Product Stewardship Program, which was well-attended and well-received with productive audience engagement

In addition, H2 Compliance exhibited at the conference in the PSX Exchange, where they met clients eager to hear more about their EPR, takeback, product stewardship and chemical regulatory services, and how Landbell Group and H2 Compliance serve customers along the product life cycle and value chain.
