On 28th January, Consorzio ERP Italia, one of the main non-profit schemes for waste electronics and batteries in Italy, organised a webinar on the WEEE and ROHS directives with UCIMU-SISTEMI PER PRODURRE, the Italian association of manufacturers of machine tools, robots, automation and ancillary products.

Since July 2018, the two organisations have an agreement in place to support associates involved in end-of-life management under the WEEE Directive in Italy and Europe.

The webinar covered themes including extended producer responsibility, open scope and exclusions, and the obligations of producers under the WEEE Directive, as well as identifying products and restricted substances under the RoHS Directive.

To support its customers, Consorzio ERP Italia regularly organises special training sessions, seminars and webinars. For more information, please visit the Consorzio ERP Italia website.
