To report, or not to report, that is the question…

The European Commission’s recent Omnibus packages create uncertainties for companies like ours.

As they stand, proposed changes to the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) could take us out of scope.

Following some thought, Landbell Group has decided to continue voluntarily with its sustainability reporting largely following the CSRD requirements.

Why? Because we see this as a chance to:

  • Manage the financial and non-financial aspects of our impacts, which we are already addressing as part of our corporate sustainability programme
  • Address the growing demand from our customers for CSRD-related data, and
  • Keep and attract talents who want to work with companies that take care of their corporate responsibilities

Simplification is a complex topic – and we strongly support measures to reduce complexity and boost competitiveness.

For now, it makes sense for a company like ours to follow a new KISS principle: keep it sustainably simple.
