Since 1 January 2025, textile producers and importers have ‘Extended Producer Responsibility’ (EPR). European Recycling Platform Netherlands BV (ERP NL) is committed to ambitiously implementing the EPR for textiles. It works closely with major international textile producers and local collection, sorting, recycling and recycling companies to ensure that the textile chain becomes more sustainable.
ERP NL has a small team in the Netherlands, with an office in Amsterdam, that coordinates all activities in the Netherlands for customers from the Netherlands and all over the world, in collaboration with colleagues in Europe and beyond. ERP NL is part of the Landbell Group, a global leader in circular economy, producer responsibility and environmental and chemical compliance. Your responsibilities
The Operations Manager will be responsible for maintaining relationships with service providers (sorters, collectors, recyclers, thrift stores) and customers (textile manufacturers) so that they are supported and so that ERP Nederland receives timely, correct and complete data from them.
The Operations Manager reports to the Country General Manager of ERP NL
You work in a small, efficient team and support the organization by:
Daily activities
- Translates EPR legislation and contracts into schedules and activities.
- Acts as one of the points of contact for operators in the textile waste chain in the Netherlands for all operational topics.
- Takes responsibility for all reporting and financial flows between ERP NL and service providers.
- Monitors service performance by analyzing data.
- Assists in collecting and managing data from our customers.
- Aggregates figures from different partners to create reports for the internal organization and the government.
- Manages external auditors.
Communication
- Team player who enjoys working together, internally and externally, and can also work independently.
- Participates in consultations on the implementation of circular economy solutions in textiles, with Dutch stakeholders, service providers and (international) customers.
- Communicates easily in Dutch and English
- Willing to travel regularly within the Netherlands and occasionally abroad.
Development
- Analyses best practices in textile waste management and producer responsibility.
- Develops and maintains knowledge of legal and market changes.
- Develops the international chain of textile waste collectors, sorters and recyclers, together with colleagues in the Landbell Group.
- Monitors trends and opportunities related to textile waste management.
Commercial focus
- Ensures continuous improvement of our service – to customers and chain partners.
- Maintains and manages a country-level service provider database.
- Supports the ERP NL team members in negotiations with service providers.

Essential competencies:
- HBO work and thinking level (an education related to waste management and environmental protection or textiles is desirable)
- Relevant work experience (at least 2 years, preferably in a position related to waste management, textile waste and/or EPR )
- Proficiency in Dutch (C2) and English (C1 or higher), both spoken and written
Desired competencies:
- Knowledge of and experience with legislation and requirements in the field of waste management in the Netherlands (treatment, transport, handling, permits, etc.)
- Knowledge and experience with conducting audits or having audits conducted by third parties.
We offer you
- Salary indication, based on full-time, from €4,000 to €6,500 gross per month, depending on experience and competencies.
- 25 vacation days per year.
- Pension scheme, WGA gap insurance.
- Part-time work: 32 or 36 hours possible.
