As we continue to expand our operations in the EMEA and NA region, we are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resource Manager to join our team.

Your responsibilities

As the Human Resource Manager for the EMEA and NA region, you will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions, policies, and programs to support our employees and organizational objectives across multiple countries in Europe, USA and Canada. You will collaborate closely with regional and global HR teams to ensure alignment with company-wide initiatives while addressing specific regional needs and challenges.

  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures tailored to the EMEA and NA region to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations while aligning with global HR standards.
  • Lead talent acquisition efforts by partnering with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, conducting interviews, and managing the recruitment process for diverse roles across the region.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on various HR matters, including performance management, employee relations, compensation, and benefits.
  • Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives, including employee recognition programs, training and development opportunities, and cultural initiatives that foster a positive work environment.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and grievances, ensuring fair and consistent treatment of all employees.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement HR systems, tools, and processes to streamline HR operations and enhance data-driven decision-making.
  • Stay informed about changes in labour laws, regulations, and industry trends in the EMEA and NA region, and advise management on implications for HR policies and practices.
  • Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Proposing a new HR Management system that is easier to use, would better support the needs of the Group, and include an automated performance management system, learning management, employee engagement, and HR case management.
  • Focus on diversity, inclusion and equal employment opportunities.  Ensuring our systems, processes and procedures are accessible and can be used by all.
  • Willingness to travel and conduct relevant HR training where required.
  • Work towards standardisation of employee benefits including health and wellbeing across the region.
  • Focus on labour and human rights to ensure adherence to UN Sustainability goals and assist the Group to achieve Gold Ecovadis Sustainability award.
  • Find and implement human resource/cost efficiencies across the region.
  • Provide HR support to integrate staff during mergers and acquisitions.
  • Encourage employee engagement and promote our corporate culture.

Your qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree or HR certification preferred.
  • At least 5 years of progressive HR experience, with specific experience managing HR functions preferably in the EMEA region.
  • Strong understanding of labour laws, regulations, and cultural dynamics across multiple countries.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that drive organizational success.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and talent management software.
  • Fluency in languages is a plus.
