ERP UK Ltd is the UK operation for European Recycling Platform (ERP) – the only pan-European producer responsibility organisation for WEEE, batteries and packaging. ERP is part of the Landbell Group – providing product related environmental compliance in 30 countries to enable customers to comply with various legal regulations worldwide. Our customers are household-name brands which have product related environmental obligations. The Landbell Group has collected more than 10 million tonnes of packaging, electronic waste and portable batteries – making a positive contribution to the environment and sustainability. We are a small and friendly team of 30 co-ordinating all operations in the UK on behalf of customers from the UK and around the world.
The Database Administrator is pivotal in working towards continuous improvement and therefore making the business more successful. The collection of packaging weights from suppliers is key therefore good customer service skills are needed. An ability to analyse and manipulate large and complex excel data sets is essential, including monitoring and entering of information onto the internal database system accurately and efficiently. This work is often time pressured so the ability to work with both speed and accuracy to internal deadlines is vital. The role requires a strong capability in interpreting complex packaging weights, packaging levels and different material types.
