Compliance & Business Support Officer (m/f/d)
Hybrid – Ireland-based (ideally Cork or Dublin)

As a Compliance & Business Support Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the administrative, regulatory, and client service functions of H2 Compliance’s environmental compliance programmes. With a strong focus on Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), this role ensures seamless operational delivery through accurate data handling, efficient process coordination, and high-quality client support.
You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to manage compliance workflows, maintain key systems (such as CRM and reporting platforms), and contribute to the successful delivery of commercial and regulatory services.
Your responsibilities
Client and Business Support
- Maintain and update CRM (MS Dynamics) with client information, communication records, and sales activity.
- Monitor shared team inboxes and allocate tasks or queries to relevant team members.
- Provide administrative support to the commercial team, particularly around proposals, client-facing materials and KPI reporting.
- Conduct monthly data quality checks in CRM and follow up on missing or inaccurate records.
Compliance & Regulatory Administration
- Coordinate client onboarding processes, registrations, and routine communications.
- Assist with the collection, entry, and validation of data for compliance reporting across global schemes.
- Track and support the timely completion of regulatory obligations and submission deadlines.
- Keep internal systems, documentation, and tools up to date with regulatory or market changes.
- Support communication with scheme operators, regulators, and international partners.
- Handle region-specific or specialised compliance requests as required.
Project & Process Coordination
- Support the rollout of new services by tracking tasks, timelines, and deliverables.
- Assist in the preparation, scheduling, and follow-up of both internal and external meetings.
- Assist with monthly quality control checks as directed by line management.
Your qualifications
- Educated to degree level or with equivalent experience in administrative or regulatory environments.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a business support, compliance, or client services role.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident working with data, spreadsheets (Excel), CRM systems (preferably MS Dynamics), and project tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with EPR (e.g., especially WEEE, Batteries, Packaging) is advantageous.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and capable of working independently in a remote or hybrid team environment.
- Fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus.
